What we sell: Targeted Ranking and Rewards Marketing to drive more customers to the best restaurants and food products.

Every conversation — restaurant, brand, or creator — leads with two ideas: community ranking and customer rewards. Those two pillars are what set YumRanks apart from review sites and ad platforms.

Community Ranking

Real upvotes from real members — not paid placement. Providers and brands rise when their customers love them. It's marketing earned through quality.

Customer Rewards

Members earn XP for engaging and redeem rewards from top-ranked providers and brands. Sellers get a built-in loyalty engine instead of another ad spend.

Module 1 — Local Providers

Map your territory, then work it.

Your first job is to build a living list of every restaurants and food products provider in your assigned area. Use Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Yelp to find them — then qualify, log, and approach them in waves.

Step 1 — Map the area

  • Open Google Maps and search categories one at a time: pizza, sushi, burgers, Mexican, Italian, Thai, cafés, bakeries, food trucks, bars.
  • Save each result to a custom list (My Maps) named by category and zip code.
  • Cross-check with Apple Maps and Yelp to catch providers Google misses.
  • Export to a spreadsheet: name, address, phone, website, category, owner name (if listed).

Step 2 — Initiate the conversation

  • Lead with a walk-in or short call: introduce yourself and ask for the owner or marketing lead by name.
  • Open with the customer-rewards angle: 'We help your best clients earn rewards for choosing you — and rank you above your competition locally.'
  • Offer a 5-minute live demo of the YumRanks platform on your phone or tablet.
  • Show their category page and explain how upvotes and XP translate into new bookings.
  • Close with the free-profile offer and a calendar invite for a full onboarding call.

Weekly target

50 mapped providers logged, 25 in-person or phone touches, 10 live demos, 3 signed profiles.

Module 2 — Food Brands

Sign brands as marketing partners, not advertisers.

Brands — packaged snacks, beverages, sauces, pantry staples, frozen meals — buy into YumRanks because it's a community-ranked marketing channel and a built-in rewards program. You are not selling ad slots; you are selling earned visibility plus loyalty.

Who to target

  • Snack and beverage brands with an existing DTC or grocery presence.
  • Sauces, condiments, and pantry-staple brands looking to grow in new markets.
  • Specialty coffee, tea, and functional-drink brands.
  • Frozen meals, meal kits, and chocolate/candy brands targeting engaged food shoppers.

The brand pitch

  1. Open with ranking. Brands climb our category charts based on real member upvotes — earned attention, not paid impressions.
  2. Layer in rewards. Members redeem XP for brand offers, turning every campaign into a loyalty loop.
  3. Show the data. Brand dashboards expose views, upvotes, saves, redemptions, and click-throughs in one place.
  4. Close on a pilot. Start with one product line and one rewards campaign — expand once the numbers prove out.
Outcome

A signed brand profile, at least one live product listing, and one rewards or coupon campaign within the first 30 days.

Module 3 — Creators & Influencers

Partner with creators on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Food creators are our highest-leverage growth channel. Your job is to identify aligned creators, open a relationship, and convert them into ongoing partners — not one-off promo deals.

Where to find them

  • TikTok: search #foodtok, #foodie, #restaurantreview, #cheaptasty, #snacks. Sort by recent and filter for 10k–500k followers.
  • Instagram: hashtag and Reels search, plus Explore tab; prioritize creators tagging local restaurants.
  • YouTube: long-form food review, cooking, and restaurant-tour channels — these convert best for brand partnerships.
  • Cross-reference: a great creator usually shows up on at least two of the three platforms.

The creator outreach flow

  1. Engage first. Follow, comment thoughtfully, and watch 2–3 videos before you DM.
  2. Open the DM with value. Reference a specific post and explain how YumRanks fits their audience.
  3. Pitch the partnership. Revenue share on referred members, custom tracking links, early access to brand campaigns, and co-branded ranking opportunities.
  4. Move to a call. Get them on a 15-minute Zoom to walk through their creator dashboard and payout structure.
  5. Sign and onboard. Send the partnership agreement, generate links, and schedule their first content drop.
Weekly target

30 qualified creators identified, 15 personalized DMs, 5 calls booked, 2 signed partners.

One platform. Three audiences. One pitch.

Community ranking and customer rewards — that's the through-line for every conversation you'll have this week. Lead with it, prove it, close on it.
